I've stickied a links thread for any and all things that might be relevant to anyone interested in CR (CR itself, history, culture, language, myth...that sort of thing):

http://mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?p=3529283#post3529283

There's more to come, but it would be great if you could post any links you think should be added to the list in this thread, so the stickied thread can be kept neat and tidy, and things don't get lost...

I've yet to do a list for language resources and online books, for a start, but if you can think of any subheadings to add, with links, that would be great. Any and all suggestions welcome :)

Oh, and if you find any dead or broken links, letting me know about that would be good too :D

I'll be checking my favorites list with what you have already posted and will PM you when I have a moment. It looks like you have lots of good ones already. :fpraise:

Here's some wonderful images:

The site above seems to gather images from the web:

"Art credits The Lady of the Forest by Queeki; Celtic Tree of Life (via Myspace profile for Orchid2006). Update: I was alerted that the Celtic Tree of Life I found on MySpace, or Y Goeden Bywydis, is by Welsh artist Jen Delyth. "

Thanks Searles.

Really what I'm looking for are links that are more specific to helping someone further their knowledge of CR and CR related things...While art can obviously come under that heading, it's also rather subjective and at the moment I'm aiming for more objective resources. Certainly I'll be adding the linguistic resources, though.

Hopefully that makes sense :)

Fair enough. I thought the Cliffs of Moher was a great image for one to keep in mind when getting a *feel* for the West of Ireland.

I have some other links that I like for folklore collections and/or articles on traditions and languages. Here are some links I've placed in my favorites over the years in no particular arrangement or order: (though the first link is an astounding collection of Manx folklore):

Thanks again! I'm a little braindead just now, but I'll get round to adding these to the list at some point, once I've cooled down a little :)

They did disappear for a while! I think they were revamping the site. I'm glad they're back too.

I came across this little collection of .pdf's that contains some gems:

Oral Tradition Journal (http://journal.oraltradition.org/articles/search?query=ireland) using the search word Ireland. It seems like a nice resource. :)
