Pepsi Blue - Pump it or Dump it?

I got a couple coupons for free 20-oz. bottles of Pepsi Blue when I bought a couple 12-packs of normal Pepsi earlier this week at the Commissary. I'm kinda afraid to open them, though, 'cuz I'm not sure I won't spew at the first taste of one.

Are they any good? Has anyone tried them?

If you like the cheap 50 cents Tropical fantasy sodas (do they have those outside of NYC?).. You will like it. My advice would be to get Vanilla Coke.. Yum!!! :p

my son bought it yesterday. He said he liked it that it tasted like "blue raspberry gatorade" :huh:

This actually came up in one of my classes yesterday! One of my students works for Pepsi and even *he* says it's terrible. I've heard from many people that it tastes like soda water, but rotten.

I myself haven't tried it so I'll be waiting to see how this poll goes ;)

If you try it, I would smell it first and maybe put some on your finger and lick it first. I wouldn't just take a big gulp. I was in goMart a couple of weeks ago and saw a man try it for the first time. He almost spewed.:sick:

Personally, I liked it. Until it went flat. Then it was gross. But if you get it ice cold, it's pretty good. They haven't been able to keep it stocked in the grocery store near me. It keeps selling out!

I don't know, I haven't tasted it.... I hadn't even heard about it before now...
But I'll wait till one of my friends tries it or something... And I'll maybe try it myself if one of them likes it and they have one with them... Or i'll just buy one and try, i dunno...

You & Eshallet are two of a kind. He got that the other day at lunch. I tried it, didn't like it. And I agree with Melysande. Pepsi just shouldn't be blue.

The Red Fusion Dr Pepper stuff tastes like Cheerwine and it is good.

I like the blue stuff... it tastes like Blue Moon Berry Kool-Aid, but fizzy... I don't see it being popular with the older crowd, though. It's probably more of a novelty thing for kids.

I think that they learned their lesson from the "clear" Pepsi drink. I think they wanted to introduce a berry blue drink and since Mountain Dew--one of their other soft drinks---already had the red Mountain Dew, they didn't want this likely to get lost in the MD shuffle.

It's potent like MD. Not up to Jolt yet which is still liquid meth.:blushake::bug:

Judging by some of my posts Thurday and Friday while drinking this, I advise taking it in small doses. :2G:

It's a berry cola that tastes nothing like Pepsi. It's not like Vanilla coke where they took Coke and added 'vanilla' syrup to it. Different drink all together and I think it's great! :thumbsup:

Its not THAT bad. It tastes like very artificial berry....which I guess its supposed to. Its more for the kids I would guess, though I like it better then Vanilla Coke...I think that stuff is so gross.

Pepsi Blue is just wrong. Too sweet, and just yucky. I probably wouldn't immediately spew it out, I mean it is drinkable, but I certainly wouldn't buy it if there was any kind of selection of other beverages...
