Who here worshipd Gia the mother of the earth?
She is my goddess. *smiles*

I call her Gaia. She is not my goddess; however, I do hold great respect for her. Is it just me who thinks about Mother Earth after looking at the leaves on the top of the webpage? How did you Gia become your goddess, PegUnicorn? Do she symbolize nature for you? I immediately think about nature when I think about Gaia. But also, I think about oracles. Supposedly, her oracles were more divine and older than the oracles of Apollo. I bet that she is a great goddess to work with. ;)

I loved nature when I was a kid and Gia just was the goddess for me. She was my goddess... I did test once on what goddess I was and Gia was her. So naturally I felt I made the right choice.

Ditto for me. I am personally involved with many direct environmental actions. So Gaia not only is my patron Goddess and can be called on to get closer to nature. But I also invoke her presence right before a demonstration or a protest. She's a great Goddess to work with.
Cernunnos, I personally believe, is her male counterpart. As he symbolizes the animal kingdom, and I use him as I do Gaia. But of course, they are from different pantheons, and it's only me personally who chooses to work with them.

It seems like many people here work with deities from various pantheons, Ne0Pagan. There are some fascinating deities from a pantheon other than the one that I am into but I just don't feel a close enough connection to work with them.
I never thought about Cerrunous as being the male counterpart of an earth goddess. When I think about the male counterpart for Mother Earth, I think of a sky god. I think that sky and earth deities make a good connection and need each other. I'm sure that we all have our ideas about female/male counterparts though.

I actually have two goddesses... Besides Gia or Gaia.... Anu who is also the mother goddess of earth.
Cernunnos is the horned god also known as Hu Gadarn to the Druids... The god mentioned is part of my custom of worship when I am in my circle. We prey to mostly each one... But I am most strong in Gia and Anu as my godesses.
