Is Freya calling?

For awhile now I've been interested in my geneology, and the dieties some of my ancestors may have worshipped. Part of my heritage comes from Northern Europe, so my interest in norse/germanic dieties has become more persistant. On this particular day, my interest seemed fairly intense. Here is what happened:

I took a norse gods and goddesses quiz on quizfarm.com and my highest result was the goddess Freya.
That night i hung out with some friends and they started to play rock band. As they began scrolling down the songs, i immediately noticed one of the songs was entitled Freya.
Now, all of this occured on Friday, which i read was suppose to have been named after Freya.
The next day, i was still thinking of her. I decided to get on Google and look at images of her. The first image i saw i clicked on. The Freya picture showed up at the top of the screen with the front page of the web page it was from showing up beneath. I scrolled down further on the artist's website and noticed that the picture she had up giving an example of her goddess portraits was Isis, a manifestation of the Great Goddess who has been connecting quite a bit with me lately. Also, when i continued looking, i discovered another picture whose title beneath it was Freya and my first name!

So, what do you think? Do you think it's safe to say that Freya may hold some interest in me?

I don't know if Freya is interested in you, but you're clearly interested in her, so I suggest more reading and research. Try doing some Freya rituals and see what happens.

Thanks for the response Silverfire Darkmoon. I'm tempted to buy the books Goddess Alive! Inviting Celtic and Norse Goddesses into your life or Freyja, Lady, Vanadis: An Introduction to the Goddess. Oh, who am i kidding, i'll probably end up buying them both! :uhhuhuh: It's a neat thought that one of my ancestors from Northern Europe may have been a devotee of Freya. I've never actually performed a more i guess you could say "traditional" ritual before, although i have always wanted to try one at least once. I don't know though, i wouldn't want to disappoint her if i ended up not doing a very satisfactory job my first time around! lol:bigredgri A part of me though, as silly as it may seem, would be afraid that Isis, who has been with me for quite a while now, may feel slighted.
