Hello everyone,
I've been away a long while. Grad school...now that it's summer I should be around more for the next couple of months. I've missed this place.
My biggest spiritual news is that I am currently crafting my own set of Runes, they'll be comprised of a standard deviation of several modern versions of the Elder Futhark. I had a Council of Nicea to determine each form of each rune, but construction has started and I've been taking pictures as I go so expect those soon.
We have quite a full moon here in my hometown as I write this. Last night it was already 96% full and at 3:00 am it was low and magnified on the horizon, we didn't have any cloud cover. The effect it had on me. Once I finish here I'm gonna take my moonstone outside to recharge. I did the same procedure for my...guess what...sunstone back in April.
On the one hand I had to spend a ton of time in a university building and it was cold. On the other I will admit to an unhealthy net habit right now and its detracting from my spiritual duties. The result of this was that when spring finally sprung, it has been quite a shock to my system. But The God, The Goddess and The Four Elements are compassionate, and really patient and I've been recovering.
I live in a highly urbanized setting right now, the tree rows and weeds help but this place is not organic nature...its asphalt and concrete. Luckily we're moving back to the county in two years, alright yeah, that's still too damn long. :sick: I say we cause since I posted here last I've become a husband and a step-father. My wife has been participating at the major festivals of the year and is really supportive of my faith. We're discussing a series of recordings of her drumming dealing with The Four Elements. Maybe she'll be a bard one day....
