Well, it's that time of year again

As many of you know, I'm going to Ireland for six weeks to work on an archaeological dig. While I'm no stranger to traveling internationally, this will be my first time doing it alone. I'm excited, to be sure, but I'm also insanely nervous.

The plane leaves fro LAX at 4:15 pm (Pacific time), and arrives at Dublin Airport at 10:15 am, then after I do all the airport nonsense it's a 4 1/2 hour bus ride to the living facilities, and I should be there by 6 pm. The closest internet cafe is a 20-minute busride away, so I'll be popping in from time to time.

So, basically, any happy thoughts or energies would be much appreciated! Thanks! :D

If you feel the need to escape, then I'm not far away by a hop, skip an' a jump on a ferry or plane ;) We were hoping to make it over to Ireland this summer but it seems to be increasingly unlikely given the fuel prices and all. But I've never heard a bad thing about it, so I'm sure everything will be just fine :hugz:
