My mother is very ill...

All right, so my mother went to the hospital yesterday with a complaint about her stomach hurting quite a bit. She was told she'd probably be able to leave the same day, etc... well they can't quite get a handle on it. They think it's some sort of viral infection of the digestive system, but she likely will not be able to leave today, and I don't know about what's going to happen tomorrow either.

Please send our family healing and positive energies to help out my mother to a speedy recovery and keep our family from going absolutely insane (my mom was the one who did everything with the kids, my dad is quite clueless as to what to do in the morning to get everyone up and ready for school, so we'll see how that goes.).

Oh, and I apologize for being on the energy requests forum so much lately, it just seems a lot is crashing down all at the same time. :(

It does seem like we go for months or even years doing fine, and then one thing after another it all just keeps dumping on us. I'm waiting for the cycle to go back the other way and for things to go fine again too.

Update! Well, she's actually on her way home from the hospital today. She was admitted on Sunday around noon time and stayed overnight two nights, they're giving her TONS of antibiotics and it's all quite crazy right now but at least she'll be home. I don't even think they're sure what they're doing, to be quite honest. The antibiotics don't seem to be doing much, it's all a process of elimination at this point. I hope lab work helps eliminate what's going on. I'm just hoping it's not a virus. That would be even more icky!

Anyway, I'll be staying home with her the next two days or so to take the kids to school and pick them up, etc.

Thank you, everyone, for your support. I told her about all of the well wishes that were direct our way as a result and it seemed to brighten the day a little bit, that along with a good dose of pancakes from my work seemed to make her very cheerful.

Ah, yes... well everything seems to be going all right. She's back at work today, which I would have strongly advised her against but she has a lot of paperwork and stuff that needs to be done by the end of the school year, and she doesn't want to be at work until mid-June making everything up so she went back. She's feeling a lot better. I'd like to thank everyone and give them lots of :hugz: for caring about our family during this rather ill-placed and odd crisis.
