Feng Shui question

Is buying a new bed and replacing the old one while a woman is pregnant a bad thing?

According to feng shui, the bed of a pregnant woman should not be moved until the baby is born...the bed is in a bad position as of right now, so my other sister and I thought that we could buy her a new bed and place it where we need to and that would be her new bed...so i'm wondering if we buy a new bed, would that cancle the chi of the old one and therefore making it safe to remove the old one once the new one is set up?

You may want to try this question in Divination. I don't know much about Feng Shui except to say that my apt. is laid out like a nightmare! LOL
