I kept wanting to put this in the thread on decks inspired by movies and then realized that it's not a movie . . . yet ;)

How about a deck based on Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials. The altheiometer would be the Wheel of Fortune, Iorick Byrnison would be Strength, Mrs. Coulter could be the Devil or Death, Serafina Pekkala as the Priestess, Pantalaimon as ?? ;), etc.

I'd also like to see a deck on "The Mists of Avalon."

What book have you read that would make good decks?

Oooh...That's the first book (well, series) I thought of when I saw the topic...And the art would be incredible if they got the person who did the newest covers. (the photo-collage-digital stuff)
I'd love to see a William Gibson deck. Wintermute or Neuromancer as the World or Judgement, Molly as Strength, Case from Neuromancer as the Fool...All his characters are so archetypal.

Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. Hands down. Descriptions of the cities, technologies, people, etc. would make an awesome deck. If I was more artistically inclined I'd make one for myself.

Id copy Dagda in the last thread and say ~ Anne Rice's Vampire novels
Also the Harry Potter books would be a fun one to see :)
