An opportunity for me

As I posted in the Whats on your mind thread I have an opportunity to sell my art work and crafts and the Canada Celebrations craft fair we have on July 1st.
I was sent the application forms already this afternoon, and well the booth fee and approval of the committee is what I need to wait for.... June 15th is the deadline sooo I will be working really hard towards that mean that deadline.

However in the mean time I ask for help in the areas of helping me stay focussed and grounded.. because seriously right now I am a bit hyper and very very nervous as I have never done this event before as a vendor... just a happy ,go enjoy the music and food type participant, so ya nervous for sure.

Also please send what you can to make sure I can pull this off and I do get approved because we do have a lot of talented art and craft guilds in this city and I am sure my competition is going to be tough .

Don't think of it as a competition, really, it is an opportunity to learn and enjoy the experience. If you secure a booth, you will have opportunity to present your art/craft work, if you don't, you will have opportunity to look around and appreciate the works of others. It is a win/win situation!

I do hope that you get the booth this time though! It will be a new and exciting experience.

True. But I have been thinking about it this evening and the thing is I was going to start selling my work here this past Monday, but that got kaboshed due to Paypal for the moment. So one door closed and then I waited to see about another door opening and sure enough three days later this, if it also closes I believe that means I just go onto the next two events the farmers market during the summer and the Crafts Bazar so there is plenty to try for if this event does not work out.

But in the mean time I am working on my more of my dolls, teddy bears, Pagan and non pagan jewlary and taking this as far as it goes :D At least I am taking that first step after this I think other events will be easier well at least until I apply for studio fair which is something I have been working towards for the past 11 years :D

Anyways sorry for rambling and thank you for your post , time and energy :D

Well it does not seem I am going to make it for this event after all , but that just means I go on to the next event which is the farmer's market... which runs all summer so that will certainly give me enough opportunities there provided I do not move out of town.
