A fake bus stop is helping to keep people suffering from Alzheimer's from wandering away.

As they see the bus stop it reminds them of going home so they wait at the stop for a bus. As the recognise the coloured bands on the sign they remember that it is a bus stop and wait for one to arrive. So with this it stops them from wondering off and they do not get into any trouble.

It terrifies me that, one day, I will be waiting for a bus that won't ever come.

It's a good idea, but it's also very sad.
