Astrologically speaking at 28-32 do we go thru a crisis if not on the right path?

I know when I hit 28 I was not on the right path. I was moving a LOT probably 10 times in 2 years, I was dating and with a man much older than me.
Then I got blood clots in my lungs, and was hospitlizied twice and my India doctor asked me to think about whether or not I was happy as this was associated with the heart chakra.
Then after 1 year of test after test after test i moved to a small town of 200 people and worked night shifts for 6 months, then I got severely depresssed.
Then I went to live with my parents in LA for 6 months to recuperate.
Then I moved to the town I am in now and been here about 4.5 years. And then fell into another deep depression and anxiety for 1 year where we were put into the poor house because I didn't get much for disability and my fiance doesn't make much. It was horrible, no heat, going to bed hungry, making sure our cats are taken care of before us, it was tought tough tough.
But now the light at the end of the tunnel is coming thru I'm going to turn 33 July 6th. Does anyone know what this is called astrologically, how many times in our life do we experience this sort of thing that makes us go onto the right paths.

You're thinking of the Saturn return, which happens when you're about 27/28 if I remember correctly, as it corresponds with Saturns path and Saturn returning to where it was when you were born. The second return is when you are about 54 (27 x 2). I'm sure Z Budapest covered some of the things that happen during returns in her book, Summoning the Fates. If you do a search around MysticWicks or google "Saturn return" you will find lots of discussion about it.

Hey Spiritlite,

I only have a minute so I'll keep this short for now, but you are going through a very difficult transit. You did have your Saturn return a few years ago, but now you are having Saturn make a square aspect to your natal moon. Now your moon is your chart ruler (assuming your birthtime is accurate enough and you really have Cancer rising), so you have the planet of testing and discipline in a sort of power struggle with the planet that best represents your natural mode of being.

I have good news too, it's almost over :) I am having trouble accessing my normal charts, so I can't give you any exact dates, but it will all be over by around Halloween. The trouble is that it will get worse, or maybe I should say more difficult, before it gets easier. In the next month or two this difficult aspect will come exact again (for the last time for 14 ish years) and probably create some difficult stress, but after that things should loosen up for a good long time :)

I'll take a look at other possible issues when I have more time.

Oh wow thankyou for saying it's almost over, but I'm scared to DEATH about when you said it's not over yet and things will be very stressful until November....how so? Emotionally, relationship, job, money? I'm really nervous about that comment, I mean what's worse than blood clots, or severe debilitating depression, being in the extreme poor house where at one point we thought we would become homeless.

Hey, I managed to find a chart online and it looks like you should be clear by the end of July. The aspect will come exact again in early July, but by this time through (you've already felt this aspect twice in the past 8 months or so) you probably will not be too badly affected by it. This is a heavy time for me as well, and I have noticed that on this particular swing through I am much more capable of handling it. When it came exact for me earlier this year and late last year (same times for you, our planets are closely aligned) it seemed as though the whole world had turned against me and every part of my life seemed to be testing my will to live.

The thing to keep in mind is that these aspects in the sky are not causing the events that are happening in your life. It's the way that you respond to the issues that arise that these aspects describe. In your case it is a heavy dose of fear and trepidation. I am of the opinion that seeing these things gives us control over them when before they may have been unconscious reactions.

I will have to come around again later because there is more I want to add but no time to right now.

You'll be fine, you have a huge expanse of time coming up with little in the way of difficult aspects of this sort. This final pass should be a piece of cake compared to the last two (in Feb 08 and Oct 07).
