Crappy jobs

Alright folks, here's the nitty-gritty. Yesterday, my boyfriend got fired. He was working at an imaging company that had told him upon hiring as temp that he would be permanent within six weeks. That was in late October. In March they told him they would never make him permanent, and began putting him in a scanning position instead of what he's qualified for, IT. On Monday he got in trouble for working on his issued laptop (apparently an IT staff can't work on their own laptop), and for doing things wrong while scanning (apparently that same staff can be blamed for being put in a position he's not qualified for). In short, on Tuesday he was fired. This is coming on the heels of me getting fired twice, once on April Fool's day, which was a horrible joke. :dis:

So basically we have about two-hundred fifty dollars, no income, and while I've recovered from being fired, my boyfriend is totally depressed. I have a job interview today, though, at a credit union down the street.

Phew! I just needed to get that all out.. :smileroll wish me luck at my interview! :)

Why would they take him off IT and put him on scanning? I work at an Imaging place and I'm not allowed to touch the scanners, my qualifications lie elsewhere. Sounds like they didn't like him.

Yeah, I didn't get that either. Basically they said they didn't have enough work tickets in IT to warrant hiring on another employee, but they also didn't give him the responsibility of taking work tickets the entire time he was there, because he apparently wasn't capable of taking them yet. MANAGEMENT SUCKS.
