So I was taking a look at my planetary calendar, and the insights I recieved caused me to go .. WOW!!

A quick reminder, When any planet is retrograde, it's energy is most powerfully felt in the universe. The reason for this is because a retrograde period is usually brief... the planet slows to a halt appearing to sit motionless in the sky, then it backs up to the point in which it began to slow down and continues on...

Again, and I can not stress this enough, Retrograde does not equal BAD.. I get annoyed when I see people blame bad things on what is intended to be the highpoint of a planet's orbit around the sun.


Mercury is about to go Direct. And while Mercury is coming about, Uranus will be moving into retrograde about the same time.. Uranus goes rx in just 7 days!
On the 27th of June. The next few weeks will be intense! If you are able to tune in, the increased cosmic energy generated by both of these events will cause you to feel as if you are suddenly awake and more alert .. you may notice a greater sense of clarity..

Uranus is like the wildcard of the planets, it rules things such as innovation, new technology, social change, etc... so expect this summer to be action packed and if you are the inventive type, you may just get a jolt of an idea..

Here are the Planets that will be retrograde throughout the summer.
Jupiter- from May 9, 2008 until September 8, 2008
Uranus from June 27, 2008 until November 27, 2008
Neptune from May 26, 2008 until November 2, 2008
Pluto from April 2, 2008 until September 9, 2008

in other words, Look out summer here we come! It is going to be one Hell of a summer!

Im sure you noticed that both Jupiter and Pluto will be returning about the same time... this will provide for a most interesting closeout for the summer and will set the stage for Uranus and Neptune's return in November...

Trust me, the Presidential Election this year will make the ones of 2000 and 2004 look like student council elections with Neptune returning on election day.. but I will save that for my fall outlook..

just to recap and summarize,

The outer planets, (Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto) will be emanating at max power this summer.
Depending on where those planets are in your particular chart this summer, (not your natal chart, that was a map of where they were when you were born, the planets may or may not be in those same houses so you might want to look at where they are NOW in your chart) will give you a glimpse into how these retrogrades may affect your life this summer...

So enjoy the summer, you have the cosmic energies of those four plantets to aid and assist you if you are able to tune in to their vibrations.

I was born during Jupiter retro, I for years asked people what that meant, since it is supposed to bring luck to be born under Jupiter. I believe from my experiences, that the luck when born under retro means your luck will be internal, mental, that type of thing. I also seemed to often have last minute luck. Financially my life sucked bad, but other than that, I feel like one of the luckiest people ever. Any other findings on this?

why would you consider it to be internal? Jupiter's energy was at it's peak when it was in Station, which happens during a mid retrograde period, when the planet has come to a halt and then begins to back up to where it first began to slow down...

think of a retrograde motion as this...

O=planet,

)O( = station, when it pauses briefly before backing up...

I will attempt to try and illustrate what a retrograde motion looks like, (or the way I interpret it to be)

the planet is slowing down (pre retrograde)
O-O-O-O-O--O--O---O---O---O-----O-----O-------------)O( it pauses, then just puts the gear in reverse untill it gets to the point where it slowed down, and then continues on it's journey around the sun. when the planet gets back to the point from where it started to slow this is what is known as the return because it returns to it's original course, which is orbiting the sun...

During a retrograde, a Planet does not withold energy, it's effects would be amplified as it is when its energy is being sent into the universe at max power.. so I don't see where there would be a reverse or adverse effect at all.. unless I have it all wrong but that is what I get from it.

Hehehe, possibly, since I actually see it as a good thing, not bad! Instead of having the usual Jupiter luck, especially financial, I have had the opposite, meaning my luck is within, down to earth, non-materialistic, as in what REALLY is important in life. Instead of how usually retrograde gets considered as backwards, I am saying it affected me internally, not externally, and it is a very very good thing, I have TONS of luck, and happiness, by appreciating what I have, who I am. I AM lucky, and I love my life despite some family members that try to make it miserable at times. My luck is not with material things, but with what really matters in life.
Not sure if this explaons what I am trying to say or not. The retrograde Jupiter sent my "luck" to NOT be on material things, but internal happiness. It has given me luck in life experiences instead of material things. I am no good at explaining this, I hate trying to put words into something experienced.
