It is kind of funny that the apartment I lived in last year had footsteps that you could hear going up the stairs, and you could hear the door to the vacant apartment across the way unlock and open, even if you happened to see nobody go into the door.
The house I lived in with roommates after that had shadow-figure ghosts that 3 people have seen on different occasions. When a psychic relative of the homeowner came to visit, she verified that a teenage boy spirit (and she gave his name) hung out in the master bedroom because he died in a motorcycle accident and his girlfriend used to live there. A couple little boys' spirits hung out in the little girls' room and she talks to them and she gave the one boy's name and what he died from and the other died from, but said, "Ask your daughter what his name is". An older lady is the son's guardian angel and doesn't like getting her head stepped on every morning when he gets out of bed because she lays on the floor by his bed, and she gave her name, and what she died of and her age. There is a little girl spirit who prefers living in the garage and she gave her name and age and what she died of. One of the boys lived there as a Native American before there were houses. She also saw puppies and said how many and their names and what they died of. The puppies were verified later. One person saw a shadow figure rush past all of us, I felt the breeze from it, and another few people saw the candle get super bright from the figure.
I have another friend who moved out of a converted house that was made into a duplex but it was very old (late 1800's). I sensed there were 2 female spirits there the first time I was there. I sensed they were in the attic. 1 was in her early 20's and killed herself--hung herself around Christmastime in despair over the end of a relationship and feeling alone and abandoned in what was supposed to be a happy time of year. She hated seeing others happy and especially lovers. The other was an old lady who tended the house as if it was still her own--that's why the plant my friend forgot to water for over 4 months was still alive! She loved cats (that's why every stray still hung around there) and gardening. She died of being accidentally locked in the attic during summertime and it got too hot and she got overcome before she was found.
My friend told me that in the long time this friend had been there, they had heard that this was true about how 2 people had died up there in that attic, minus some details...spooky huh?
All the while this person lived there, they heard noise like moving furniture and loud bangs up there, would go up there, and there is NO FURNITURE UP THERE AND NO WAY ANIMALS CAN GET IN THERE!! My friend's bed would even get shook when they were in it. 2 Orbs showed up in pictures but only around us, not objects. One time I was over, it sounded like someone had knocked over a stool on a hardwood floor up there. We checked to make sure nothing in any of the closets fell. It didn't. It was Christmas Eve. We prayed lovingly for it to join us or go where it needs to, lit white candles, and it never came back.
I have been touched on my shoulder before, and elsewhere thinking it was someone, only to find out they are in the other end of the house! That will leave you a little spooked let me tell you!!!
