Ancient Roman Vestalia revived in Italy

In the Italian countryside, the ancient Roman feast of Vestalia is being revived. Six modern Vestal Virgins have presided over an event that used to mark the end of the harvest. It's part of a growing trend of "experimental archaeology," to teach history in a more interactive way.

From here (http://www.cctv.com/program/cultureexpress/20080622/101520.shtml).

I like the idea that they are recreating the feast of Vestalia and teaching history in an interactive way.

Sounds quite cool, and it might make learning more fun.

Very cool, it's something I'd love to see (actually, it would be cool if some society could do that for Sumerian and/or other Mesopotamian events).

I'd much rather see a modern performance of the Navigium Isidis, myself :P

Personally, I'd love to see a recreation of the ancient Olympics, where the hot athletic men would do it nude, now, that would make me watch the Olympics a lot more!.
