I just now realized this maybe good to post.
Does anyone else have uh, this? I'm a leo, not a very sociable one. My best-est friend is an aries, my best friend is a sagittarius. Yes, all fire signs. Does anyone else have a group of friends that's the same element as them.

Also, to make it actually odd, I was born to two aquarians, my father's middle name was Leon. Leon-leo(n), and means lion.

Actually, I'm the opposite. I'm a Virgo and I seem to be the lone earth sign among my friends and family. Almost everyone else I'm close to is a fire sign except for my darlin' Aquarius husband.

My Mom's a Leo and my Dad's a Scorpio. Most books I have consulted say something along the lines of "For the love of Pete, don't go there!", but somehow they've made it work for the past 30 years. :) (of course both of them will admit that it wasn't all easy...)

Well my Dad's a Taurus and my Mom's a Sag, and they made it work very well for more than 30 years now.

My BF is Pisces, I'm Sag, and I thought it might not work until I did both charts and realized when you put the whole thing together we're very. . . compatible, for lack of a better word.

Lets see. My Mom's a Taurus, my Dad's a "last day" Leo (he has more virgo traits), my brother is a Cancer, my sister is a Gemini, my brother-in-law is an Aquarius. So my Mom and Dad are ALMOST both Earth signs, and my sister and brother-in-law are both air signs.

I'm an Aries. (Go me!) and my bestest friend (hey Maren) is a Leo, and my best friend is a Sagittarius. So we're all fire signs.

I haven't looked into the other members of my family. But I'm rooming with an Aquarius, I can stand her, but not by much.

the crew i hung out with at college were all november babies (all around thanksgiving, cusp babies) i think they were all Scorpios...maybe sag's, i can't remember their specific days. so waters maybe fires.

high school friends: cap and an aquarius earth and air....they did't get along great.

There seems to be a trend in my family.
I'm a Libra and my BF is an Aries.
My Mom's a Capricorn and my dad's a Cancer.

I believe I read somewhere once that opposing signs weren't supposed to get along too well. Well to that I say HA.
(granted some of the arguments between me and the BF can get pretty wild).

Some astrological thingys I've noticed:

All my life, I felt like the "oddball" in my family. My oldest sister was very much like my mother, my older sister was very much like my father. But I, the youngest out of the children, didn't really act like any of them. I couldn't relate with them in an overall sense. When I became very interested in astrology, I found a nice explanation for this. My mom is a leo and my oldest sister a sagittarius, or fire/fire signs. My dad is a cancer and my oldest sister a scorpio, or water/water signs. I'm an aqaurius which equals air. I think they helped me understand why I didn't mentally connect with them as well as they did each other.
Another situation they intrigues me is with my closest circle of friends.
We always have a great 'chemistry' when we were all together. Like we had know each other all our lives, but we were only 2 years in to knowing one another. Then I noticed all of our signs. Aqaurius, capricorn, leo and pisces. We made a perfect elemental circle of air, earth, fire and water. I found that interesting.

Well i'm a scorp. I work with three other scorps (entirely by accident!) My 3 best mates at high school were libra, virgo, and a sag! (there WERE jokes about us forming a coven!) I also seem to attract a lot of geminis (why??!!!)
My mum's a Pisceas and Dads a Leo, and a happier relationship you'll not find. As for my love life... I'm currently with a Taurus, and we get on SO SO well... so it's all very iffy with my astrology1

I'm an Aries and hubby is a Capricorn....can't get any more tense than that...unless he was a Scorpio :hairraise, it gets pretty heated around here, but I love him enough too much to let some silly stars tear us apart;) . My first daughter is a Scorpio....let me tell you, it's starting to become a power struggle with the two of us, her bio-dad is an Aries..... that lasted all of 3 weeks. My 2nd daughter is and Aries, and so far so good.

My closest friends are Taurus, 2 Capricorns, 2 Aries', a Leo, a Cancer, and a Scorpio.

My family consists of Dad-Aries (should seen some of the fights when I was a teenager-brutal :lol: ) Mom-Pisces (the guilt trip queen :lol: ), older sister-Scorpio (and we shared a room for 5 years...not pleasent :lol: ), and younger brother-Libra (got along fine:))

i'm an antisocial intellectual leo, but my rising sign is virgo, which explains it. the rising sign, if i understand it right, is more of your outer personality, while your sun sign is more what's inside. mine fits to a t. most of my friends are also leos or taurus.

In my immediate family (sisters, mother, her parents, etc.) everyone's sun sign is either earth or air.

Very few of us have any signs (moon, ascending, etc.) which are not of another element, with me being one of the few since both my ascending and moon signs are water signs (pisces and scorpio, respectively).

Yet... the air signs seem to be the most idiotic of the bunch and the earth signs the least grounded. Go figure.


I befriend Virgos very easily and absolutely adore them. I get along with them better than any other sign and most of my close friends have been virgos.


Unlike most libras, who are in fact very sociable and greatly concerned with partnerships, romantic love, etc. I am not. I despise people as a whole, so hence I am not sociable or concerned about relationships. Also I find the idea that our society holds so-called 'true-love' up as some sort of panacea, which I scoff at. I'm also very uninterested in it in general in regards to life as a whole. I also rarely ever tolerate other libras for very long as they tend to annoy me to no end.

Hmmmm...

My long time husband and I are both Taurus' so you'd think that we'd bore each other to death! Actually things between us work out well. My sun is in Taurus, my moon is in Cancer and my rising sign is Virgo. My hubby's a Taurus, moon Virgo, rising sign Scorpio... We understand each other fairly well. The biggest problem between us is that we have very similar bad habits! Diets, and other self control issues have to be worked on in tandem or we tend to unintentionally sabotage each other. Still, it makes for a very unified marriage, wich may be why we have lasted since we began dating in high school. A pretty amazing feat nowadays.

As far as our two children are concerned, they seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum. My son is a Pisces and his sister is an Aries. She picks on him horribly. Thank goodness he's seven and she's two!:fpoke:

Let's see... Me and my 20 yr. old brother and one of our cousins are all Aries. My mother, father, grandmother and uncle are all Cancer. My aunt, grandfather, and other grandmother are all Capricorns. My newest baby brother (3 years old) is the Libra... :lol:
The only ones that don't fit into this pattern are my other grandfather, a Pisces, and my other cousin, a Scorpio. My fiance's a Scorpio too, while my best friend is a Cancer, dating a very indecisive Libra (he's got three women up in the air now and can't make up his mind!).
It all seems to come back to cardinal signs with me! :lol:

As far as I know, I do not have friends that have significantly different signs. Personally I have a lot of friends were I talk diffrently with. One best friend is a real Pisces (I am a Cap), I give him advice to rationalize and he 'teaches' me how to use feelings. Another best friend is typically Aries, with him, the unexpected allways happens. well and my other friends have their things too...So my friends have very different signs than I have, these friendships are based on differences (complemantary), sometimes you miss the similarities (although everybody has), but I get to know more of them now around me. :graduate:
