Strange you should say the men are!! I think we all suffer to some degree at some point from mood disorders. Occassionally, I have found the need to seek medical help. However, my doctor now is of the opinion if we can help ourselves we should help ourselves. Though him I have been able to get out of the cycle of depression/highs with the use of self hypnosis and meditation. Like many things, it is necessary to identify our triggers, and then alleviate them in which ever way is appropriate.

It was a little humor, and I meant that men are at risk from
our(women's) mood disorders....like PMS. hehehe :D

PMS---Putting up with Men's Shit. ;)

Agreed, Mystique. I did mean to comment that I knew as many men that suffered from mood swings as women! But then I went and forgot!

I shouldn't have made fun of men about mood disorders.
But then, female and male mood swings are different, but
still serious.

If I get any of this wrong, I apologize. I'm pretty sure that this is how my dad explained my guy friends' pms cycles.

Men do indeed have mood swings and it has been proven that we women set them off. Go fig! Pms as we know it is a woman's response to going into 'heat', just like a cat. :p Our bodies radiate sexual hormones that send the signal to the men that our bodies are ready to breed, whether we are in the mood for it or not. Mens' bodies send off their own set of hormones like this and they kind of clash in mid-air with ours, creating extreme sexual tension and frustration. If nothing is done to relieve this, then both parties get crabby and b*tching cycle begins. :D I really do feel for the guys. Like cats, when we women are in heat we are at our sweetest and at our meanest. It's no wonder they get crabby too! :D After this wonderful pms cycle is over, we're on our rag for a week, and then we revert back to our normal selves to have it all screwed up again in a couple of weeks! *grrrrrr* Pmsing sucks! *sigh* Oh well...

Hey, I always try to remember it is a hormonal imbalance, and control it from there. But that is always easier said than done!!
