I am pregnant and got some scary news yesterday. I would love to get a reading done on me if anyone has time. The basic focus that I would like it on is health of the baby, possible sex of the baby and pain management if it comes to that. I appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks ahead!

Couple of strange comments from the guy in this group --

One - I'm glad that you know you are pregnant already because some of us readers will not/ do not deal with pregnancy or death related questions.

Two - get yourself a second or third MEDICAL opinion from a qualified physician, not from a Tarot reader. Some of us also refuse to provide medical advice due to threats of lawsuits from practicing medical without a license.

Three - as far as determining the sex of the baby...there is a one in two chance of being right or wrong. An ultrasound may be a better proceedure than shuffling a bunch of paper cards.

By all means - ask the cards about the wonderful life your baby is going to have...but don't use them as a substitute for sound medical advice.

Since it sounds to me like she's already been do the doctor, I'll do it :) Britallis, I'll be pming you, though I will just give you some general ideas about the situation. I've never done a reading for the sex of a baby.

Yes, Mithrea, it sounds like she has been to the doctor but would rather listen to a bunch of readers, psychics, and intuitives than someone with 12-15 years a medical training. A doctor has obviously told her something distrubing about this pregnancy...why leave it to chance?

I have been to a doctor. One that I completely trust and rely on. The situation is that I have a fibroid tumor in with the baby. It is not a cancerous tumor or anything like that. And will not harm the baby. The situation is that I am going to be in much pain throughout the pregnancy and there is not way to take it out without harming the baby since it is in my uterus. I am not asking for medical advice as I know that there is no way that I would harm my baby, however I would like to know how I will cope and deal throughout this pregnancy as this is so new and terrifying. Mainly how my family is going to deal, and my other two children. I do not want medical advice as I am already getting the best of that.

Congratulations on your news Brittallis, but Im sorry to hear about the fibroid tumor and hope you ok and coping alright.
Id suggest aromatherapy oils aswell as any other things you are trying, lavender is an excellent pain reliever and relaxant and can be used throughout pregnancy and even labour, and rose is nice to use to keep you calm and positive.
I really good book I got for my pregnancy and has helped loads throughout it is Aromatherapy and Massage for Mother and Baby by Allison England.

(((((((((((((((((Britallis)))))))))))))))))))) Congrats on your baby. And Good luck with the fibroid. I'll light a blue candle for peace for you tonight. I know it seems really frightening, and I can't imagine how i'd deal with that type of pain, during pregnancy (which is already so uncomfortable to begin with), but...I have faith that you can conquer it all, and have a happy, healthy pregnancy and birth!

For divining the sex of the child, what I would do is deal out 23 cards. And decide whether inverted cards would signify boy or girl. Then, if there were more inverted cards in the spread that would give me an indication of the sex.

There is also the old needle/ring on a piece of thread divination tool
