Hi,
I'm a newbie (kind of) to the forums. I've read a lot of great advice on these boards for a long time, but haven't really posted a lot of things.

I've had pagan leadings for a long time, but I really haven't been able to fully acknowledge/revere the gods and goddesses until just recently.

I am from deep south Louisiana, my family consists mostly of Acadians (French, Creole, Cajun), Choctaw and Caddo-Asai Native American, and Latinos. I know I have some black relatives along the line somewhere, but haven't been able to pinpoint where exactly.
I have always been intrigued by Voodoo, love all things supernatural in New Orleans, and think I might be meant to travel that path.
I do know know for sure...
I have always felt an association with Isis and all things Egyptian, but now, in trying to find a god or goddess to set upon my altar, I feel nothing from the Lady.
I would be ever so grateful to someone, anyone who could tell me a) why I feel no connection with the All and b) how to choose the deity that I am meant to worship.
I have read other postings on these topics, and have tried to follow the advice of the wise posters there, but still feel scatterbrained.

I appreciate any and all help in advance.

Paganism does not necessarily mean you wroship the lord, the lady and the all.

If you feel no connection to those things that that specific path isn't right for you.

It's probrably best to stop with the active search to find a deity you feel drawn to because you feel you should. Instead you should look within yourself and examine exactly what YOU believe (as opposed to what you feel you should) and take it from there.

patch just gave some wonderful advice. Why try to fit a square peg in a round hole?

Find out about yourself, first.
