One thing I am often asked is --- can I use what is happening with my body, to tell me (to divine) what is REALLY going on in my life?

In my opinion YES!!

So what types of divination do you use? Or do you??

Do you read the signs of what is happening energetically as well as physically?

For example if a small child is ill and has a fever and is pulling at their left ear, and not teething -- most folks would say hmmm that kid probably has an ear infection. That would be deductive reasoning... right??

What about if it is your neighbor who suddenly is having some knee issues, or shoulder etc ... does that mean anything to you energetically as far as what they are going through??

I think a really basic thing that people use this kind of thing for is weather. How many times have we heard someone say that they know it will rain if their knees, fingers, etc. are achy?

I tend to use my shoulder injury as an indicator of stress. I'm very good at deceiving myself when I'm under stress... until my shoulder starts acting up & tells me to pay more attention. :)

Ah yes the weather and achy joints that is me, especially today.

And as for me and my health there are several ways I know I am under stress even if I do not want to admit it upfront, one is the tension in my jaw particularly my left side, and the migraines that result, as well as my impacted wisdom teeth, that like to come up and down when I am stressed and when I am not they hardly ever bother me.
and on it goes.

I agree with what you both say, but am a firm believer in taking it further and learning what your body is saying. Learning to read the signs.

I suggest Heal Your Body by Louise L Hay

So you can learn things like a hurting thumb is related to intellect and worry and the little finger the family and pretending... teeth represent decisions etc.

If you have a health spot or know someone that does feel free to ask what is related and I will even give you the affirmation for healing.

In my opinion you can divine a LOT from your body about what is really going on and not just masking the symptoms :)

I had a feeling you were trying to get to something deeper. ;) I will add that book to my amazon list, as it sounds like it would certainly add to my understanding in my Reiki practices, etc. :)

oh mercy i have become transparent!

lol

it is affordable for everyone, and i am never far from mine

I also got a private question, which I have answered and will add the answer here as an example for others.

What about weight, and where you carry it? Does that tell you about people?

YES!

Thighs -- packed childhood anger - often rage at the father

and an affirmation to heal that -- I see my father as a loveless child and I forgive easily. We are both free.

i believe our bodies always tell us what's wrong and they ache in accordance to the things going on in our lives.. much like our chakras- if your root is darker or musty or dim there is something off balance with that area of life (whether there really is something wrong or you just think so is another issue).
I always get a rhaspy voice and throat aches when i have to talk to someone about something serious, the right lower side of my back freaks on me when im stressed past a normal point- and i cant hold balance. There are a million things going on right now and not too many are going right- i was in yoga yesterday (something i practice fairly regularly) and my body was not cooperating- so much so that the teacher (who was new to me) though i might be a novice. I also fell and landed on my brick (lower back impact) and couldnt breathe. hands shaky, headaches, exhaustion, etc etc. I dont know what the universe is trying to say, but i know something is up and the tests are wearing me out.. haha
I dont know where i hold weight other than my obvious places (because of my ethnicity) but typically I look at how much weight is being held in specific places rather than just where its being held.. my dad's ex-wife held a lot of weight in her thighs, rear end, and face- none in her chest or arms or on her back, but very specifically thighs, butt, and face- she had father issues, problems with trust and trusting men, insecurity up the wall and she was incredibly selfish and immature- still is- i found that it clouded her mind in addition to adding weight to her.
