I read through the now-closed thread. I don't know what to say, or where to begin. . . **shakes head sadly** I really don't.
I know everyone here is under a lot of stress. We've all lived through a trying year, and the events that happened a year ago today hurt us all in some way or another.
Let's remember that snapping at others is the wrong answer, no matter how upset we feel. **Soft smile**
Most parents do the best they can. But some parents are downright abusive. I'm a survivor of an abusive parent-child relationship. For you who aren't. . . try to imagine being trapped in a house with your abuser, where you have almost no recourse. You can't leave--if you're caught, you're simply returned to your parents. Not all abuse leaves bruises; and it's almost impossible for a minor to prove mental abuse in a legal arena.
