I was visited by Erzulie Freda last night. This comes after several weeks of petitioning the gods to show me the path to follow.
When I saw her, I asked her why I felt so disconnected from the spirit world as of late.
She told me that the pain in my life (chronic back pain, joint pain due to Celiac disease and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism) has been clouding my mind and therefore rendering my spiritual work useless. She said that once I found relief for my pain that I would be connected to the spirit again.
I was wondering if anyone had this sort of thing happen... Does this even make sense?
