Greetings All,

Just saying hi, as you do. I've found recently that I've been spending too much time (much too much) working and posting to forums related to work (devshed, php, etc) :) Hence I thought I'd see if I could find any interesting people out in cyber space. This looks like a good place to start ;)

I think Loreena Mckennett rocks, and find music the easiest way to feel things that hurt. However I often feel I live a double life, because here in little New Zealand, there are a *lot* of Christians. Most of good friends are Christians, and they are great people, it just isn't for me it is just so male orientated ;) However saying your a "pagan" or a "wiccan" or you listen to the goddess over here, is like coming our of the closest :) lol :)

Anyway if you haven't read The Mysts of Avalon, I totally recommend you do, that is my favourite book - what is yours?

Z.

Welcome to MW, Zitan, hope you will enjoy it here.

I loved the Mists of Avalon (you've made me want to dig it out of my bookshelf and read it again!) but my favourite books are the Belgariad and Mallorean series by David Eddings. Re-read them regularly!!!

Hey Nina,

Cool :D I just started the Priestess of Avalon, that is very cool too. Never got into David Eddings although I like anything fantasy. I mentioned Marion because her work so beautifully covers what I feel it is to be witchy :) She rocked.

Thanks for saying hi, take care.

I highly recommend David Eddings... go borrow the books from someone, immerse yourself and enjoy!

Hope you like it here, everyone is friendly, it's a very nice place to hang out and chill!!!

Thanks, I'm sure I will. I think about David ;)

Read any Margaret Atwood? She is too much. The Robber Bride and the Handmaiden's tale rock - not be light reading of course :D

Lol, I got to sleep its past 1 here. Thanks for all saying hi, I never meet a friendly forum in my entire life :)

May the goddess protect you all with her circle of fire.

Z.

btw, I bet none of you have heard Lily by Kate Bush, she totally wrote the ritual of the lesser pentagram into a song.

Welcome & Merry Meet! :sunny: :heartthro

As the co-mod for both Music & Books I invite you to come check those forums out. There's always a lot of stuff going on in Music and in the Books forum we are currently starting a "discussion" regarding Tolkien's "The Two Towers".

That goes for the rest of ya too!!! Come on down & visit.

Merry Meet, and Well Come!

I love MZB!
And I enjoy Eddings...
But if you're into twisted fantasy, I highly recommend Storm Constantine!
I just re-read her Wreaththu series, and it blows me away every time...
