To me, this is a big "DUH!!!". Sure, Prozac can help someone in the short term until they can deal with the CAUSE of their depression, but it is not a lifetime solution, by any means! We live in a country where people want to treat the symptom and get on with it, but they don't want to realize that the symptom is only indicative of a larger problem and until they fix *that*, they will continue to have depression. Yes, for many people, it is an issue of chemical imbalance, but I am talking about those whose depression is caused by some sort of external trauma or issue such as the death of a spouse or child, etc.

good doctor. finally someone understanding the problem as a challange and not as a field for selling addictive drugs.
