so I was doing an mp3 search for Pagan and Wiccan related songs and other audio contain... and found this.....

http://www.landoverbaptist.org/audio/pod/zerowicca.mp3

now, we've all had to put up with this kind of stuff before (if you haven't, you're lucky) but this is especially insulting, almost beyond belief.... well maybe not the worst I've heard, but i'ts up there.

a parody site huh? interesting.....

although, it it was to set an example, theres plenty of that going around in the world, they don't need to produce their own stuff, and it would make them look better, but then I gues thats not the point :smileroll

but then, what goes around comes around, maybe it's not such a good idea...entertaing though, I'll give it that, sometimes the lack of correct info makes you laugh....

like the whole Harry Potter is evil propaganda, because, the thing is, I've watched it with my brother, and haven't seen much if anything that teaches, promotes or is even close to any Magickal systems, Occult Studies or Wicca..... it's all holy wood as far as I've seen

It's designed to parody Westboro Baptist Church; and it's all the more scary because the real thing isn't so different ... _inabox_

Wow, I had to do a double take when I looked on that website. It was kind of shocking, even as a parody.

which is why I had no idea it was a parody... they really did put in allot of effort

and yeah, I know it's not so far at all from real thing, that kind of stuff (with a couple of other reasons as a result of it) (and we're talking death threats not simply a little name calling) is why I left High School and got my GED, which turned out to be a good thing....

anyway, I'm glad my grandma isn't that bad, she's Baptist, not very open to other lifestyles, we don't usually agree, but manage to live in peace....

and she has become more understanding, we had a talk, and I got her to read Wicca, by Scott Cunningham ( because she can't take my word for it, and if it's in a book it has to be true  )

things are much better now :)

_tomatoe_Okay call me a turkey for this one, but how does anyone take this serious? The link in the sidebar for "Godly Sex" along with the tone of the words gives every indication needed to recognize this for a parody. The mp3 had me laughing my earthy butt off.

I played the mp3 for a friend of mine who thought that parts of it would make a good ad campaign to encourage coven membership in gullible Neopagans (no, not all of them are gullible, _tomatoe_).

It might make more sense if you checked out the Westboro Church websites

They are even more warped and they mean every word of it

QFT, that's very true, and they're really funny, IMO, 'cause they take it all seriously.
