Ok… I confess I don’t read Tarot, I’m not even sure if I ever want to read Tarot, or Runes or I Ching or any thing that pertains to telling what could maybe happen in the near or distant future… though I own all of the above *blush*

To the point… I don’t know when I lost my cards… I never really used them, I dabbled when I first got them years and years ago but since then they have purity much been in a box/cupboard/drawer with the rest of the stuff I don’t use, or use rarely. Now I know a few weeks or more ago I asked a friend to pick them up and bring them to me at work… I had them there then brought them home again and that’s where my memory cuts out… well today I found them… outside… in the rain… two houses down… all of them @.@ and I have no idea how they got there… unless I didn’t take them out of the car and they fell out somehow but then how did they get a good 10 feet from the curb?

Anyway I feel like they where trying to get my attention… and it worked, I’m straitening them out right now. But I don’t really know where to go from here… should I cleans them? What could I use them for other then readings? And well… I just thought I would share…

Trying using invidual cards as a focus for meditation.

How well did they survive the rain?

Many readers avoid the types of readings that predict the possible future and focus on using the cards for insight into their own psyche. Or for meditation purposes as Wolf has suggested.

If all else fails, you can use them for decoupage or other decorative purposes around your home. :)

hmmm sounds like some good ideas, hopefully I will be able to put them into use regularly *blush*

so far they have survived the rain purity good... I have ironed them, (with a shirt over so its not directly on them) and steamed them in the same way then placed them in my flower press to sit for a day or so to see if they flatten out more... other then the warped shape they look fine.

Think of it as your cards having "character". Sounds like you've been very careful in trying to preserve them. Good luck!

I say let them look withered from the rain. It's saying..."I should already look like this from use..."

Good luck, I've had 3 decks for probably 10 years, I know them all, the meanings, etc, but I have never given a reading, even for myself. If my cards came a'knockin...I'd listen.

Oh don't worry I like them looking used... it just adds to their history and life, but I still like it when they are at least almost flat :P and lucky me they came out just the way I wanted them, flat but still slightly warn!
