As I read both of your messages I shake my head and find myself giggling with recognition (NOT at either of you, at me). I have no Capricorn in me at all, as a matter of fact I am almost all Air. Gemini Sun, Libra rising with Aquarian moon. Two years ago I fell down a flight of cement stairs and did quite a bit of spraining, twisting and mangling of my whole left leg. I was suppose to stay home but of course did not. I was driven to work then used one of the wheel chairs from our First Aid department and wheeled myself around doing my job. If I couldn't wheel I hopped, limped, everything to keep going. Finally my right leg said "Enough" and became so swollen my Dr.'s were concerned about a blood clot and I was ordered to bed for 4 days.
So here's my question: Should poor doting Capricorn take all the pressure or should the fact that we are "women" take a little of the credit. (some tongue in cheek here)

Merry Merry,
Feminine sign , actually , being of the "negative or receptive or feminine" polarity.
A more accurate symbol of the seagoat would be a Mermaid. I could go on about the deeper mysteries of this most underrated and over looked sign, but its importance stands at the gate of the return of the sun, at solstice, and has been largely been made out with masculine ideas, but it is a feminine sign. usually the "mermaid " is assigned to pisces but they are truly whole fish; and not part fish part animal and /or part human, as the derivation of the sign of Capricron is from antiquity .
I would love to see where Capricorn falls in your chart , the house that is , and where is Saturn , which is the ruler of that house ?
It is true SOME women are overly responsible, but there are some who are incredibly LAZY< and have to find things to do to keep busy LOL, too , so I dont think the woman idea can apply either.
I cant beleive there are people who have to find things to keep busy with, I have SO MUCH I want to do and can hardly find time to do it all , and then I still have things I want to do :>, so I am NOT the type have to FIND something to do type :>, life is so full and beautiful. And I do have heightened sense of responsiblity, and have spent most of my life helping people . I became a professional nurse , but before that people just showed at my door for healing
"because _____ would know what to do "
So look at the house where Capricorn is in your chart and saturns placement, because a house is empty doesnt mean it isnt active :>

Wow you got me! My 4th house is ruled by Capricorn. My Aquarian moon also sits in my 4th house.

Hi Ataya and Swanspirit ~ I know very little of houses and astrology but have really enjoyed your posts ~ Thanks you both made me laugh! :)
Im a Capricorn, and believe everyone has to have a bit of cap in them as it is an Earth sign and everyone has to come back down to earth sometime!

I love reading your posts, Swannie!
Looking at your chart, Litha, I can see that your Cap Sun first house sextiles Saturn in Pisces 3rd house. Im not surprised to find your motivation and energy directed in healing and service coupled with commitment and industiousness.
