Hello all! One of your NEW guides here! 1111 and I have been appointed the task of watching over the Healing & Reiki forum. We’re pretty excited about it and looking forward to sharing with you guys.

Since this is YOUR forum (we’re just guiding & watching over it) what would you like to see here that will help liven the place up? I was checking back over posts for the last year and noticed that there weren’t really very many of them. Let’s get some new conversations going!

Some of our ideas include:

a new Reiki Tag thread that includes feedback from the recipient as well as the sender.
discussion of articles from various magazines & news sources.
discussion of the various forms of Reiki (Usui, Karuna, etc.).
I’d like to see some threads perhaps on flower essences, massage therapy, reflexology, etc.
What would you guys like to see here?

Also one area I am also looking at is Healing with crystals and gemstones. I know this may be more suited for the Crystal subforum, but I feel it could also be something looked at here. And I mean energy work with crystals and not only with Chakras...

That does sound like a topic that could be touched on here as well. I use a large crystal as a focus when I'm doing Reiki sometimes, so things like that would be helpful to know about how people practice, etc. :)

Yes exactly, share techniques, try new ones and discuss what we felt or the results were :) i know I am out of practice so it would be a great way to get back into the swing of things :D

now why haven't I been in here before? HI guys!

I use crystals both in my massage practice and when I do energy work. I tend to work towards Auric balancing, so when I do massage, I use crystal massage wands to stimulate the chakras in the area of the body I am working- and I also keep a giant smoky quartz in my office to clear the space. I have a big selinite that I like to use in my healings as well.
