My aunt just found out she has Ovarian Cancer. She went in for testing (u/s and cat scan) and then was told by her doctor about it.
She has to have surgery to remove the mass and them chemo. Any prayers or energy you can spare is appreciated. Her name is Donna .
I worry about ovarian cancer because my dads mom had it and died from it when he was 13. I found out a couple months back that I had a ovarian cyst but it was fluid filled and not cancerous. (I guess they can tell from only u/s and cat scans then??)
Now that my aunt has cancer I now know it runs on both sides. Vinny goes back to the doctors on the 13th,so i'll be asking her if i'll need yearly scans or whatnot. I really want to be more causious especially since I had pre cervical cancer in 2001. I now have yearly paps..
