Well - There have been other strange things for about 2 years now. At night, street lights seem to go off when I approach. I know this happens on occasion(light problems), but I can ride 1/2 mile and have 3 or 4 go out. I can ride the same stretch - and it happens for a week, then it stops for a while, then may start again.

Sitting in a Shopping Center parking lot, lights around me go off.

No, this does not happen all the time, it seems to happen in streaks.

And Yes, I have considered that it is just my mind playing tricks on me, but after 2 years ?????

My thoughts were that Thor might have something to do with this.

Thunder = Lightning = Electricity -- on/off ... lights on/off.

Straighten me out guys - am I reading too much into this?? :)

No, not at all. I think of lights when I think of Thor also. From your original post, you stated that Thor's name keeps popping into your mind. Even without the light incidents, it sounds like Thor has gotten your attention. Based on what I know about Thor, Thor does things in a big way. Besides the lights, has anything else grand occurred to you?

Nothing else really - just the lights. His name actually started popping up when I started reading the post on this board - but before I ever saw his name in print.

From what I have read on him, my personality parallels His somewhat. I have always felt like a protector and that fact carried me into politics for a while.

I would note that information on Him is kinda hard to find. If you search on His name, you get hundreds of sites, that use His name, but have nothing to do with Him.

Really? I thought that there would be loads of internet info on Thor. I have a Norse mythology book. The author discusses Thor in great depth. Well, I'll keep my eyes open for internet sites on Thor. Here is one that I have seen. It is quite good.

Lunarsun!!! That has happened to me all the time. The streetlights. All the time, for many many many many years. And those automatic doors at shopping stores jam up on me. I cant get them to open or they stop half way or they fly shut on me as I am walking through. But then someone else comes along and they work fine.

omg. . . I do the streetlamp thing. Sometimes I swear that the streetlamps around here must be posessed. . . but only for me :D
Then again, I've been getting lots of messagies from the norse pantheon in general. . . @_@; a friend of mine is trying to get me to do some more serious study. . . after hearing this, I begin to think it may be inevitable! hehe
