After reading through the attraction thread, I noticed that all of us in long term relationships mentioned our other half as having all of the qualities we are attracted to.

Would you pick your mate again if you saw him or her on the street today?

Without a doubt. I'm never gonna find anyone like this guy again.

I should answer my own D*** question. :p

Yup, through good and bad (and there sure is a lot of both), I would take my hubby all over in a heartbeat.

nope. And not just on my current SO... on all my other ones, too. If I knew then what I know now....

It depends on the day?

Actually, if I wax philosophical about it, every single choice we make in our lives, I believe is made for a reason. There is a lesson in everything. There is a reason why I'm here, where I am, with whom I'm with. If I changed that decision, and didn't go with him, I might not have learned that lesson, and experienced all that I needed to experience, I suppose.

Good question.

If I saw my SO in the street - I'd walk on past. Because it was his personality, his soft voice, and his gentle nature that got me to start with. You can't tell that in a glance.

However, if I had bumped into him, and he helped me back to my feet... now that would be another story.

Am going to speak to him tonight!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!! Haven't spoken for three weeks, and it's another 20 days, 3 hours and 30 minutes until his flight is due in!!!!

well my first TRUE love only happened to me about 2 years ago...he told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and a lot of other b*******...turns out that he was cheating on me too...:flamer:...then a year ago we started talking again, things were going good..but he started playing mind games with me...

i regret ever getting involved with him...yet, i learned a hard lesson, took me over a year to recover, but that's okay because he didn't totally break me...

Heck yeah. In a minute. I Loves him madly and he loves me. We've had good & bad but mostly good. He's funny. Delightfully twisted & evil. Kind, caring. Treats his Mom and his friends well. Loves the Yankees. Comics. RPGs. Even the same music (with the exception of Pantera). He's great with my son and he's pretty darn studly. :)

Sure, if I was the same idealistic person as I was then, I'd probably make the same mistake... but I agree with Danustouch, I also believe it happened this way for a reason. As hard as it is some days, I would not attempt to re-make my life in my own image.

Goddess yes! I love him completely

all married couples have their moments, add to that the fact that my inlaws spend the first 8-9 years trying to drive me away...that part I would skip!

but he's my other half and I'm his...I'd be lost without him!

Chryssi,
I haven't read through the "Attraction" Thread yet. (Although I plan to.)
But, D@%N STRAIGHT! I Would!
There are no words to describe how I feel about him. We've been married 16 years. (Livning together for 17 come Thanksgiving.) I can't imagine life without him.
I feel we were meant to be together.

I would be with him. No doubt about it... Even through the frustrations etc, I can't imagine him not being there. We're getting handfasted this upcoming Beltane, so I guess he feels the same way... It'll be three years together! YAY!

I met my moondog when I was 36. I never intended to get married, but 4 months later.... We've been married for 6 years now, and are closer than I ever thought possible...
He's a hand-full; the stereo-typical artist: a temperamental musical genius.
But then I too, am not the easiest to live with. But we do fine together... And would be lost without one another!

I have learned that artists should only marry if they can afford an accountant... neither one of us is any good with a checkbook!:D
