My publisher has asked me to update the Encyclopedia of Wicca & Witchcraft for a new edition. I want to add new entries and expand on others that are already in the book. If you are familiar with my Encyclopedia, and want to suggest adding a new topic, or more information on an existing topic, please let me know.
I want this book to continue to be the best community resource that it can be. So if you can suggest something, even an improvement, please let me know. Oh, and BTW, sorry, but burning the book is not an option for improvement - just so you know. ;)

Greetings Raven,
Just wanted to let you know that your Encyclopedia entry for Seax-Wica needs to be totally overhauled! An incorrect post office box number was never corrected by Llewellyn, for starters. Though at this point that error is moot. Recent internal conflicts within the Saxon Wicca tradition has led to a split - the course mentioned in your entry is no longer active. For complete details contact crowhaven_house@msn.com - they'll be happy to give all the revamped info to you. They wanted to contact you directly but could find no way of doing so. I'm just trying to help them out.
Blessings and Light!

Thank you, I will look into that. Every entry for a tradition or organization was written by a representative, and every living author's bio was written by the author himself/herself. Less mistakes that way.
Just an FYI, any author can always be contacted through his or her publisher.
Thanks again for your input, much appreciated.

Hey Raven, have you thought about adding an entry on Stregoneria Italiana to the encyclopedia update? I know that SI has nothing to do with witchcraft or Wicca, but it could be a fun entry.

Vinny, first off, my book is not a poltical tool. With that understood, the answer to your question is no, I will not be adding this entry. My only reason is because the Stregoneria Italiana Project has nothing to do with Witchcraft or Wicca, and therefore it does not seem to be an appropriate entry for the encyclopedia. However, since I will be updating the Stregheria entry I may make mention of SI in some way. We'll see.
But thanks for the suggestion, Vinny. I need to hear from people because I want the encyclopedia to be the best community resource that it can be.

Hail Ho Raven.
Merry we meet.
I'm fairly new here and still finding my way around, how nice to find you here as well. Your Encyclopaedia of Wicca & Witchcraft is an excellent resource and one I have used and quoted regularly in my own articles. As for improvements, I have only one suggestion at this time, while your entries in the Encyclopaedia are alphabetically indexed, I find your quick reference index at the back of the book to be of little or no practical use??? It's a minor niggle I know, but when I am referencing several similar books on a particular subject, it's sometimes a trudge to have to search through the whole thing in order to find your entry :-(
Good to see you here Sir :-)
All for now, have a nice day.
Best Wishes.
Merry we part.

I understand. It was difficult to even get an index in the book as the publisher felt that an index was redundant for an alpha sorted encyclopedia. It is unlikely that I will be able to sell the idea of updating the index, but it is worth a shot. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
Thank you also for your kind words about the book and its usefulness in your own work. I visit your site from time to time and have very much enjoyed your articles.
With all good wishes,
Raven
