hello,

i'm not sure why i did not think to post this earlier, but any help is very welcome..

i am going on a trip tomorrow to my grandparents house. They live in South Carolina, and while a nice place, it also feels quite old. The room that i stay in while there has three mirrors (i am rather afraid of them) and no windows. i always find it hard to sleep there, and have had nightmares the last time i stayed.

i was planning to take some stones with me to keep in my bed when i try to sleep. i planned to carry amethyst and perhaps quartz as well. i am still deciding what else to take. Any other general suggestions or stones that can help with this kind of thing would be very welcome.

as an addition, could anyone recommend anything that has helped them with headaches?

Thank you

Chalcedony is great for nightmares as is citrine, jet, lepidolite, ruby

Pink Dolomite is good for insomnia as is rose quartz and pink quartz.

Can you remove a mirror or 2 while you are there? There is no way I could handle a room with 3 mirrors either. I dont think I could handle one in my bedroom to be honest.

Another thing would be to leave the door open... at least a bit if you can.

thank you, luckily i have some of these.

unfortunately i don't think i can remove any, and im a bit to paranoid to turn them away from me. i may leave the door open a bit if the feeling is right, though.

thanks again

Yeah, I'd cover them with a sheet or something, a large towel, anything. If possibly something dark so you don's see light fabric floating in the air in the middle of the night. EEEEEKKK!

just to add for headaches also insomnia here are some helpful herbs you can make tea or just a bag to smell..{you know aromatherapy} or bath with them and as usual test them first to make sure you arent allergic before doing anything with these

Headaches .............. Insomnia

Angelica................ Passionflower
Lemon Balm ............... Lemongrass
Chamomile ................ Catnip
Feverfew ................ Mugwort
Hops ............... Water lily
Lavender ............... Lavander
Marajom ............. Chamomile
Mint ............... Valerian
Passionflower
Rosemary
Sage
Sarsaparilla
Vervain
Rue
Willowbark

also drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional pain relievers.

and your Amethyst is great for Headaches, eyes, scalp, hair, pituitary gland, balancing blood sugar. Psychic abilities, imagery. Purify and transmute negativity. Reduce anger, impatience, and nightmares. Spiritually uplifting.

Thanks so much. I'm in the process of putting together a database that would be as comprehensive a list of stones, herbs, oils & incense and colors by uses. So you could go to it and say, okay, I need to do some energy work to get rid of insomnia, and all the stones, herbs, oils and incenses would be listed, so you could just grab what you have from the list and go. Can I add any of these I don't have for these purposes to my growing mound of info? Would add you to the credits, of course.

for more info amethyst can be found in the database.
Also a note the data base is basically a huge link of other topics . hence many people wrote them . so please ask them permission if anyone want s to use their material for another website or database.

yeah , it's in the sticky section.

then there's a sticky for variety of quartzs that in some cases are rare and mostly unkown to the general public. All done by Wolfsong. i believe he left a statement in reguarding using his work on other websites.

Mirrors are very magical, and can be haunted by just about anything, including entities and bad energy. Suffice to say, there is probably something watching you from them.
Try covering the mirrors with something at night.
Also you might try anointing with a psychic protection blend oil.
Malachite is very protective. Wear it as a necklace.
If you can, try performing a little purification of the room, with some purifying incense and white candles. Sprinkle some purification herbs in the room, including in front of the mirror.

back schoerl tourmaline, best double ending

place on your heart chakra during nights

drawa circle of salt around your bed

have a red candle lit infront of each mirror
