Greetings and Merry Meet to all those of MysticWicks. I am in general new to the idea of Wicca, and pagan philosophies, so if my naiveness shows, please feel free to drop me a hint.
I will start with my name, seeing it is one of the things most catch on to.
Rhiannon, as most refer to the name, is a song my Stevie Nix. Now my age will show when I say that I had no clue to the existence of this song or the singer. I had a name that was rudely shut down by yahoo, and thus began the search for my new name.
I chose Rhiannon because in Welsh it means Goddess, similar to what my real name means.
I chose Nyx because it means sprite. And I am very much a free and sometimes mischievous spirit.
I am not the type to hurt others, it’s quite the opposite. I seek to help others. But again I am forced to face certain gifts I had been given so long ago. I do not wish to lose them, nor do I wish to again hurt someone with the lack of ability to control what I have.
I came here in seeking those that can guide, and maybe shed a little light on some things that I have experienced, and maybe, in turn be able to help others.
