I have a set of Tarot cards that I bought a few years ago. I have barely even looked at them
They are called "Healing with the Angels Oracle Cards"
They feel dead in my hands, but have been calling to me for a year now. The thing is, I am better with runes. Runes have always had a stronger pull on me and I understand runes so much better.
I am not sure what to do with this set of cards. It has its own book on what the cards mean, but to me if I try and focus on it my mind it becomes chaotic and much like sitting in a fog.
Any advice as to what to do with the deck???

yeah even trying to talk about the affects it does to me launches me into a bit of confusion.

#1, these are not tarot cards. That is an Oracle deck. :) Tarot cards consist of 4 Suits and 22 Majors, totaling 78 cards. You can research more on that in the FAQ.
#2, if the deck doesn't work for you, don't use it. Admire the pictures, but you can certainly have more than one deck (of any kind). Many readers are also collectors.

Yeah see, not to knowledgeable on "tarot" or "oracle". I just thought the company was trying to appeal to the Christian crowd by making it "more friendly"

You might try cleansing and charging the cards. Then ground and center yourself before you pick them up again. If you still have problems, put them away, enjoy the art, maybe find another home for them.

~~returns to google and researches more~~I'm not sure if that was really her goal. She has other decks as well such as "Healing with the Fairies" and some other decks about Mermaids, Unicorns, etc. I will refrain from saying how I feel about most of her decks. :smileroll
If you're looking for an actual tarot deck to use I'd suggest shooting over to Acelcectic and looking at the decks listed there for beginners. Or even checking out the FAQ for some recommendations. Oracle cards are great though, I have several decks myself. If this deck doesn't appeal to you, there are countless others that are available, I'm sure you'll find the "One". (or maybe the twelve or twenty. LOL)

I had a fabulous beginner's deck. It's called A Beginner's Guid to Tarot. It's by Juliet Sharman-Burke. The deck is based on Rider/Waite, but more pagan in imagery. The artwork is great, and the book is so very good in helping you learn Tarot. They have it at Amazon.
