Has anyone seen this? I bartered for a deck at HHG, and Bob signed the little white book for me. Apparently he got the rights back and re-released the popular deck himself. There's an extra lovers card, as the old publisher censored the one he wanted to use. This deck contains both lovers cards, and I guess some other updates.

Bob told me that one of the first edition resale decks sold on ebay for over $2000! He also said he prefers this version, which thankfully is only $30.

Check it out:

I got this deck as a learning deck. I really want to know more about alchemy. I really want to understand the symbolism better.

Ohhh I read this article and I LOVE it! I love anything gnostic as its mostly what I understand best, I've been trying to branch out but if I can relate it I love it more. Like Jung I like him because he just clarified gnosticism to me in a more psychological way. It's mind blowing to me really.

;) That's deck number 385 that I'd like to get - The Tarot Connection Podcast did a show with Bob, and after hearing about it, I had to check it out.

http://tarotconnection.net/episode-78/ that's the episode, if you want to listen.

I had this deck pre-ordered at Tarot Connections so I got it right when it came out.

I absolutely love it! The elegant lines, colours, shading, the backs......it's a total package deck.

The thing is though it's a very intense complex deck with its own system. It needs the book!

Now Robert Place was revising and adding onto the original companion book to this deck and it was supposed to be released this past autumn. Yet, no sign of it.

Does anyone know any info? This is frustrating! I've really wanted to delve into this deck and its system for well over a year since I've had the deck. I wrote the publishers 2x asking about this (Tarot Connection) but received no answer either time.

Alas I think Robert Place has his own timetable. His Vampire Tarot has been going back and forth about being published since early 2006 and is finally set to be released this summer! Though I do know that his court cards are gothic writers and some of them had issues with allowing themselves to be in the deck (the biggest party pooper being the fuddy duddy Anne Rice :smileroll) and that held up printing for a long ass time.

Any news would be good news!
