How do i find my God/Deity

Hello, i was wondering how i find my god/diety? Thanks everyone

give it time. . . . often it's an instinctive feeling, or you will get a 'message' from one or more. . . (dreams, visions, repeting symbols, things like that).

If you really, really gotta know, you might try meditating on it. :)

One thing to keep in mind is not to place a name on something or someone until understanding has been partly reached.

In other words, first maybe you should take a look around you. What do you enjoy most about you surroundings? Outside or in. It doesn't matter where you are. Take what comes to you first, for example trees. A nature goddess/god may be what you are searching for.

Remember, above all, those who seek without knowing never find. Do not try to hard, it will come with time. :shift:

What I mean is look to yourself first, that way you will know what you like and/or love. By doing this, no one else will direct your decision other that you.

How would i find which gods/goddess' are of nature? I went to the thread on the postings of most of the diety's but they were not organized by category, but alphabetically

Thats what i did the other day, i guess my post didnt get through, but a few days ago i went in the woods like every day and meditated, the past 3 days during school if i daze off, i keep seeing this reoccuring vision of me walking up to a white gate, covered with vines and trees are all are around. I have no clue where it leads but something feels like its puling my heart right out of my chest and through the gate, i start to walk through the gate, and i seee some branches, or vines glowing gold, and then when i try to go all the way through it ends... i've no clue what it means though
Would greatly appreciate anyone who has any theory at what this could mean,

I'm definitely no expert, but vines... They could mean Dionysus, or a wine deity is calling you?

Vines.. I love vines. When I think of vines, I usually get the idea of Pan and really any nature-type deity. It could very well be Dionysus (or Bacchus).

I think what you could do.. is meditate on that again and call out asking them their name. You might be surprised on who you get, though, so don't expect anything. :)

This may help a lot further to figuring out this.
I looked at the vision more closely and i saw that the vines spelled out this... it looks like a celtic word that i do not know of though, wondering what word its closest too.
It looks like l K but they are on a 45 degree angle to the left and the bottom right part of the V on the K is not there. Sorry if thats confusing but i would greatly appreciate anyone who knows any words that its close to. So it looks like an l K but take off the bottom right part of the K, and the top right V of the K is tilted towards horizontal a bit more... so its almost an l F without the top bar on F and a longer middle one and a 80 degree angle on it.
