That's a really neat idea, reconstructing a Neanderthal that way. One of my former college professors used to do things like that (and then he worked for NASA...and then an art college, hehe).

I've seen a similar reconstruction of a Cro Magnon's head, a few years back. Reconstructive sculpting is something I'd love to do in another life perhaps. There must be something both empowering and depressing about giving a human face to people who have died, whether the reconstruction is for forensics science or historical curiosity.
