Good morning!
I am a twenty-six year old Canadian who practices a Buddhist spiritual paradigm, and a chaotic magical paradigm which is in a constant state of evolution. I have a long-standing fascination with all things spooky and, even when I was a devout Catholic child I made a habit of talking to what I believed were ghosts. To this day, the purview of death (including impermanence and interdependence) remains extraordinarily potent in the way I process information and react to my experiences.
I was fortunate enough to be by my grandma's bedside when she passed away and, although we were very close, I never once cried. In fact, I feel absolutely no sense of loss. I felt for my family who were devastated, and I continue to wish for them to see death in a healthier way.
How wonderful it would be if all beings were free from suffering and its causes.
May they be free. I shall cause them to be free.
Guru Deity, please inspire me to be able to do so.
Metta,
Death the Kid
