Last week was spent by me at a remote fly-in camp on Big Chateaugay Lake in Quebec, Canada. I joined five other hunters for a week long pursuit of Barren Ground Caribou.

Thank you, and it was.

High Adventure..... and the cleanest air I have breathed in many years. A much needed break from the day to day.

How many Bou did you get?Just one. I had intended to hunt with my longbow but it became very apparent rather quickly that it was not to be that kind of a hunt. I turned to plan B..... my .30-06.

I will post a pic of my Bou as long as no one will be offended. I understand that not everyone hunts nor shares my perspective on the subject.

What say ye?

very nice!

I say post the other pic. You can't post a hunting thread without posting your prize =]

I'll just put (pics) in your title if you want to post it so that those that may be offended can stay out.

For the record... we packed out all of the meat and I kept tha hide and the rack... very little was left in the field and we will be enjoying the venison for a long while.

I am having the hide processed into a blanket... spread out it looked big enough to cover our queen-size bed.

European mount for the rack.

Beautiful shots.

And it looks like you had a wonderful experience. :)

[I've no issues at all with ethical hunting. It's illegal or canned hunts, etc. that turn my stomach.]

Looks like you had a blast.

Scenery is amazing. I doubt many people have laid foot in the same spot you have.

What scenery! The quality of the light in the pictures is fantastic - you can tell the air is truly clear where you were.

Glad you're home safe, those shots look amazing! :boing:
