Hello everyone, i was going over the basics concepts and such of the pagan religions and was wondering if there is a certain rule that if you do all of them you attain wisdom. Example, the buddhist Eightfold path
Right belief-Renounce Belongings
Right resolve-Dedicating life to try to achieve nirvana
Right speech-Living life as a leader
Right Conduct- Life is sanctified
Right livelihood- Living a life of service
Right Effort- Removing evil thoughts from the mind
RIght mindfullness- Craving is pointless ( craving = aging )
Right Concentration- Strengthening the psychich branch of the brain
Thanks

In my path (Kemetic) you work towards ma'at - that is universal truth, the "right" way, justice, harmony, etc. - but this isn't to attain wisdom. It's just the "right" way; create harmony and you live harmony.

There's really no "set" rules for Paganism as a whole. It usually varies from path to path. Many, however, do adopt the "Wiccan Harm None" law.. an it harm none, do what thou wilt. Of course, that's basically just the golden rule about do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I don't know about acheiving harmony. That's basically just living harmony and you are harmony. Do what you think is right and that is the right path for you.
I hope I haven't confused you like I've confused myself. 8O

I've found that the best way to gain wisdom is to pay attention. ;)
But hey, maybe that's just me. :D

Wisdom is a human concept.
I think my Mother put it best when she told me
the only difference between a wise man and a wise ass
is a shut mouth;)
