Love the new look folks! But shouldn't the leaves be turning yellow and orange already? :eyebrow:

Got a new place, a raise and a rather interesting geek who asked for my number. Life is good! *finally *

Have decided Episcopalians are cool, rednecks have curious dental problems and I wanna be a libertine when I grow up!

Yahoo mail is up and running again and you have to check out a book from Dolmen Press (circa. 1985) called "Yeats: The Initiate". The history is old but the book is fascinating.... *must find stuff by AE!*

Well, big hugs and smooches all around! I gotta go study now :( but I'll be back soon!

It was a happy day at mysticwicks
for earthcup had returned.
The witches broke out their magic sticks
to show her what they had learned.

They pointed and chanted a simple spell
ala kazam, abra ka poo bip boom bop
but it went awry and they started to yell
bouncing like bunnies they started to hop!

Earthcup was amazed and started to laugh
these were her friends hopping like mad.
They wanted to please her with their little gaff
and though it went awry she was quite glad.

Love for her is alive and well
and perhaps this
is the strongest spell!

Welcome back!;)

That's an excellent book on Yeats, Earthcup - and it underlines my own thesis, about the deep connection between magic and ritual and theatre :)
Amazing how all those Abbey Theatre folks turn out to have been Golden Dawn and so forth.

Glad to have you back - I was worried, but my emails kept being returned :(

Now your homework is to go read the play "The Libertine" by Stephen Jeffreys, about the life of the Earl of Rochester. ;)

Yes, ma'am! *mock salutes*

I'm fine. Back is good, health is fine and I've even lost weight! (move over Jenny Craig and say hello to stress! lol*

Love the poem! Glad to find humor is still intact here. *no one at my new job gets my jokes :( *

You should be able to send stuff to Yahoo! now. I cleaned it up a bit but still have tons of e-mails to sort through.

Oh and I actually met a real live occultist out in what I like to call the "real world" :D He has my number but has yet to get up the nerve to call. He always makes time to talk to me and is always glad to see me though.

(Azure- does "geek love" count as an unconventional relationship? :T )

Oh and just so ya know, my mother and brother are no longer speaking to me, or touching me, and are in a different state! It's mahvelous dahling!
