I was at my friend's 30th birthday party last night. They had lemon drop shots. I think I did too many of them......
I hate it when you wake up fine and then get slammed with the headache hours later. It is like "Ha ha. Fooled ya. You thought you were all clear. NOT!!!!!"
Gonna go die now.....

I feel for you, chryssi1. I went thru the same thing last Sunday from a wedding the nite before. I asked The Great and All-Knowing Mol what the cure for a hang-over was and he said, "Don't drink."
Oh yeah! That helped!

I went through the same thing on Saturday morning... we went out Friday night for the first time since August, and my alcohol tolerance must have been lowered down during that time because I didn't drink more than usual, and it kicked me in the head big time. I was drinking vodka and redbull though, so the caffine helped so I didn't have a headache the next day, I just felt sick and hungry (great combination) all day....
And yes, water is the hang over cure, unless you're hung over enough that you can't even keep that down.....

Get some sublinqual vitamin B12 drops for the next time.
Before you go to sleep, take a dropper full and hold it under your tongue for a minute. Then repeat the next morning.
Like flar7 said rehydrate yourself. Add some plain sugar to the water, a couple tablespoons. It will bring your blood sugar back up. Or a plain coke will do, the caffein will help the headache.
I hope you feel better soon!:D

Thanks for the sympathy. I needed that! :D
The worst part of it was my blood sugar. I am hypoglycemic and when I drink the hard stuff, I struggle to get my blood sugar levels up. So all morning I was just shaking. Then the other worst part was that I am taking Vioxx for a bum hip and can't take ibuprofun or aspirin for my headache. So no excedrin or Advil! :wah: And then the third worst part was that my in laws were coming over for their birthday dinner and I was making chicken, stuffed mushrooms, sauteed spinach, rice pilaf and homemade apple pie (crust from scratch). So instead of curling up in front of the tv, I was cooking literlally all day. I itold them they were lucky I didn't send out for pizza!
But today I am *all* better! Wooo hoo!
