For my brother and SIL

and soon to be born child. she was at the doctor the other day and they were concerned that she was developing pre eclampsia (she gained 11lbs in the last week and had high blood pressure) Her water broke at 4am this morning, 3 weeks early. she is 85% effaced but not really dialated and her labor isn't really progressing. The are concerned that her cervix is too small, but because of the pre-eclampsia they don't want to do a c-section. if she doesn't make good progress by noon they are inducing (which i can tell you from personal experience is hell) My brother is a nervous wreck....so labor energies for her, calming energies for my brother, and positive, welcoming energies for the baby who's coming a little sooner than expected.

If you need names for focus my brother is Michael, my SIL is Megan, and the baby (the last i heard) is Torin.

I was induced (intentionally) and didn't have any problems, so here's hoping that she's lucky and has a problem free delivery. (As problem free as she can get from this point! Poor girl!)

My daughter had preeclampsia with both her preganacies, only she didn't have enough amniotic fluid instead of having too much. She was able to go very close to her due date before they induced labor. It was scary but it all turned out fine. Sending energies for the best outcome possible for your brother, his wife, and their new little baby. :hugz:

Just got the call, Baby Torin decided to finally grace us with his presence at 11:10 tonight. He's 5lbs 12oz and I'm assuming healthy since my lil' sis didn't say otherwise. She WOULD call while I'm carrying Kit up to bed and couldn't answer my phone. Only time I've been away from the phone ALL day. LOL
