Theres a thread in the pagan market place where people are up for swaping their decks http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?threadid=17923
you may want to give that a try, maybe you can do a swap with someone or Ive heard ebay is very good (but never been on myself)
Hope to see you around more :)

I actually have two copies of the Celtic Tarot, by Courtney Davis. I found one at an estate sale, opened but never used, and a friend gave me another copy. If you would like one of them, I will be happy to give you one simply for the price of postage.

Take a look at the deck at one of the tarot sites listed in this forum or at Amazon or something and decide if it's one you'd like to have.

It's a deck that doesn't have descriptive pictures for the minor arcana - just knotwork designs with the appropriate number of swords, disks, wands, or cups - but I'm finding it to be quite accurate as I learn to use it.

Thank you so much for your very kind offer, Azure. I found a deck by chance while at a book store last night to pick up something for hubby....its a basic one with a book ....ya know those little gift kits they have out at major book stores...but it is nice and a good one to get familiar with tarot with.....
thanks again!

There is a thread here about a free beginners course at B & N.
I've found it very helpful.
It's over on the 14th.
But you could print all the assignments, lessons, and quizzes and
such. They tell me it's offered ever so often so you could watch for the to offer it again as well.

That's a good course, but you don't have to worry about the course ending. They teach it straight from Joan Bunning's web-site, so the material is available 24/7. ;)

Good luck and have fun!
