Well, almost. Well I celebrate christmas a gluttenous, rambunctious, family oriented, gift giving and recieving extraveganza and nothing more. I will do my own thing for Yule in private. Anyhoo. I was just looking for some good gift giving ideas for a 2 and 4 year old(boys). And maybe some cool and different ideas for adults too.
I am sure everyone would appreciate ideas.
How about making this the holiday gift idea thread??? I know it's not even Halloween yet but it is never too soon to get finished with the shopping.

2- 4 year old boys huh?
How about Duplo (sp?) Blocks. They're like big Leggo's!
They have soft Tonka Trucks (like a stuffed animal)
I recommend anything that makes a lot of noise!
Hey, they're not my kids LOL!:rotfl:

Tonkas and Matchboxes were always a big hit here. Paint and paper, an easel, crayons, chalk etc is fun.
I am a big fan of dress up and dramatic play. Hard hats, tools, costumes, police and rescue outfits.....
Books puzzles, etc...
Musical instruments- maracas, symbols, bells, tambourines and CD's to march and dance too
Hope this helps.
(Hey, I am having a huge garge sale on Sat.- lots of this stuff is on sale!:D)

There are gift making ideas in the family and green forums. You may want to search them for the word gift

Have you checked out the gift shop at the nearest museum? Or maybe a mall near you has a museum shop. There's always piles of really cool educational toys, books, etc. in those places.
