Amiture archaeologist Jacqui Wood at Saveock Water, Conwall, England has uncovered a spring fed pool lined with quarts that reflects moon light & a platform next to it that has been radiocarbon dated to 6500 BC. The platform has holes containing things used in witchcraft. But they only date to 1650 - 1950 AD. They include finger nail clippings, hair, pins, raven & swan feathers as well as unhatched eggs. Also pieces of clothe that still have color.

Hail Ho Staticonthewire.
Merry we meet.
This is a fascinating story by Kate Ravilious that originally appeared in Volume 61 Number 6, November/December issue of Archaeology, the same magazine that reported Stonehenge to be a burial site and not a healing site as originally thought. Here's a link - http://www.archaeology.org/0811/etc/witches.html
All for now, have a nice day.
Best Wishes.
Merry we part.
