Can anyone recommend a fast-burning candle to me? I want it all melted in like 5-10 minutes. I'm not looking for a tiny candle, or a 4" taper- but something substantial and FAST!
Or, a suggestion of fast burning wax, so that I can make my own. Thanks- I appreciate any help! :)

birthday candle....that's what we use when we need a short burning time. Come in all the needed colors (some even have colored flames)

How about TNT? Even goes out with a bang.

I've seen some really cool birthday candles in the stores. Some are spirals rather than just straight candles. I think they are sold as "crazy curl" candles.
Candles sold for Hanukkah would probably also work.

If you want to melt candlewax fast, take a bowl, hang it in a pan with soft boiling water. put the candels in it the bowl. Within a short period the wax starts to melt.
I hope that this is what you mean. I never tried it before but a friend of mine with a candlestore uses this way to make candles.
This is ideal if you want to make differnt shapes of candles, just poor it into bakingshapes put a fuse in it, and you have made a new candle in for example a heartshape, a moonshape or whatever, ideal for spells.
