cool finds at thrift store....

not sure where to post this but am so psyched I have to share :)


I have had the most amazing luck lately...Ive been really wanting to set up an altar and start gathering some tools, but money is virtually non-existant..but I had a little tucked back from a cleaning job I did and in the last few days found these awesome deals:

*clay pot saucers to decorate as altar plates and to make one into a pentacle by using some stone chips I have....
*a remnant of double-sided black velvet for altar or tarot spread cloth-99 cents
*this gorgeous deep purple sparkly fabric at walmart for 1.97 a yd....for an altar cloth
*halloween- themed broom I am re-doing for my bessom for like 3 bucks
*some gorgeous antique silver candlesticks for 99 cents each
*beautifully intricate brass pot
*glass jars for herbs/oils- 29 cents each
and a new tarot deck with book for 13 dollars- that was the most expensive purchase but all in all...good deals!
then yesterday as I was walking the dogs I spotted the most perfect piece of a maple branch....
I just am so blessed by all the goodness!!

I spotted some good stuff at a cheap shop myself today :) I remember looking at a hallowe'en broom and wondering whether to get it or not, too :) I love those shops! (Though actually I was more tempted by the pumpkin candle holder they had...)
